12-15 Mayo: Last week! Mandatos!!! Commands during Quarantine. Notes, Oreos, and FINAL exam!

12-15 Mayo:
Meta/Goal: I can tell others what to do through commands. I can begin by recognizing the command/mandato tense. I can see that the ending of the verb changes for a friend/informal (Tú) and formal (Ud.) or plurarl (Uds.)

CANVAS #1:
If Profe's dog can do this, so can you. Watch this video and translate the "commands" Profe tells Pablo!  (See video on Canvas as it won't save here).

We use commands ALL of the time in the classroom!
Now you will just learn the grammar behind it! Read the "formula" to tell others what to do! It's called the Imperative form or "commands" or Mandatos.

CANVAS #2
A. Evalúa el anuncio de las galletas “oreo” y 1. Traduce a inglés.  2. Contesa:  ¿Usa el niño Ud. O Tú con su mami? ¿cómo sabes?

CANVAS: # 3 pick one of the photos below and translate it.

A.

B.
#2. Consejos (advice) para la vida.

CANVAS #4:
Practice the "commands" form from the websites below.
Write in Canvas anything you noted about this new tense. 1) Mandatos  Tú:

 (los irregulares tú)

FINAL EXAM:CANVAS:
You will create a video or a picture (like examples above) Commanding someone to do whatever it is you wish to do!
Perhaps you can teach YOUR dog some tricks in Spanish! Perhaps you can teach your sibling to CLEAN your room!
Perhaps you can teach the world how to live a healthier life. Use your creativity and commands! Challenge is to use as much proficiency as you can!

5 de mayo

Goal: I can watch videos in Spanish and English, then teach someone what el Cinco De Mayo is. To celebrate the solidarity of the holiday with Mexico and the United States,
I can listen to Mexican-American, Selena, while practicing some grammar skills!

¿Qué celebra el 5 de mayo?

A.
Haz click para mirar  the REAL story of el cinco de mayo. Tell all those crazy Americans that it is NOT MEXICAN INDEPENDENCE DAY!!! THAT IS el 16 de septiembre! We celebrate en Los EE.UU. more than in Mexico!!
