Futuro Futuro 14/15 enero with sub

Spanish III 4A sub plans.
Goal: I can write/read and say what I and others will do.

There is a lot of MEANINGFUL work to do today while I am gone. PLEASE work well today and DO all of the activities so that you are ready to roll with the new "WILL DO" Tense.
The last activity is always a favorite of students. You will want to get to it!!! I can't wait to talk to you about it when I return.
The sub will walk around and grade how you are working.
You may work with YOUR group only.

1.Review the "new" future tense, using your YELLOW notes, and graphic below.
2. Copy the notes of the irregular verbs in PURPLE, the WILL DO, into your yellow notes, from the doc cam with the sub. *REMEMBER, you will be learning a "Fraternal Twin" of future - WOULD/COULD do.. that is written in GREEN next week. IGNORE the green!!! But, LEAVE SPACE!!

3. COMPLETE the first practice page entitled "future" in that same packet.
4.Stand up and Stretch.
5. Continue work on the computer here below.
6. Remember, the last activity is pretty awesome. Work well so you can get to it!
7. TURN in both your Caliente la Mente with your written work below from the computer AND your yellow paquete WITH YOUR NAMES AND BLOCK!

College Spanish Spring 2020 information (UMKC links)

This is a college Spanish class with the opportunity to obtain college credit in addition to your Staley high school credits through UMKC, AP or the Seal of Biliteracy. There is no right or wrong path for your student. Evaluate your options and pick what is right for your family.

UMKC: Students can earn college credit through UMKC by enrolling properly EACH SEMESTER and paying UMKC tuition. The tuition is 1/3 the cost of UMKC’s normal tuition. Scholarships are available on UMKC’s website. www.umkc.edu/hscp

The current cost is $98.27 per a credit hour with a total of $294.81 per a 3-credit class (each semester), paid to UMKC.

Spanish III is the UMKC equivalent of Spanish 110 1st semester (3 credits) and Spanish 120 2^nd semester (3 credits), for a total of 6 credits for the year.

Spanish IV is equivalent of Spanish 211 1^st semester (3 credits) and 221 2nd semester (3 credits).

Spanish V is 280 (3 credtis/290 (3 credits. (Many students almost have a minor upon graduating Staley!)

For UMKC credit:

1. You need to have a 3.0 GPA or a 21 on your ACT.

2. You must fill out the ONLINE application and pay EACH SEMESTER.

* HINTS:

Be sure to use the BIRTH NAME of STUDENT to fill out application and to enter a correct email.

o The ONLINE application needs to be completed by February 12^th 2020, at 3pm

o The STUDENT must sign the GPA form with Profe Maki-Birchler by January 17^th (Same date as the assistance scholarship is due)

Missing the deadline will result in a tremendous amount of work, and you may not be allowed to enroll.

3. You must maintain a grade of C or above to earn credit. Regardless, you pay for the class.
